SANTA WAS GOOD TO ME!
santa (my girlfriend) kicks ass...look at what i woke up to today! anoyone have any info on this guitar? I know its one of the first few J Customs ever made after the USA customs ended in '96 and one of the most expensive ibanez ever made with a retail of $3600. I just want to know how many were produced, Ive heard 12-16 were made but i want to know for sure and try to figure which # i have.

I wouldn't stick with 27 frets if I was you..... that's one of the sweetest looking guitars I've ever seen!!! You better be good to your gf, you owe her big time!

thanks but theres no paint on the whole guitar, its all oil finished mahogany and all the gears are inlaid walnut, even the Ibanez logo is inlaid walnut. In case you cant tell in the picture the whole top side of the body and headstock are actually grooved, like 100 little channels carved in the wood, kind of like the way cardboard box looks when you pull it apart. she got it new from a shop in downtown disney orlando, it was made in '97 and has been hanging as a display there since then.

Ive come to my conclusion!...after hours of playing both guitars back to back.....the Caparison wins, seriously by alot. and I thought playing the best Ibanez has to offer would make me give up my Caparisons...nope, only made me realize even more how bad ass they really are. anyone want to buy an Ibanez? ha!

I was recently at the Orlando Guitar Gallery (the one in downtown disney), and I'm sorry to say, but they had 3 of these same guitars on the wall all marked down to $2800...I never realized how big a rip off that place was. They were trying to sell the same PRS I have for $1000 more than I payed. Also, they were trying to get $5500 for a glass Satriani sig Ibanez. oh well... |
