It was a project that was organized in the mid 90's with the singer Fear singer Lee Ving, and they released the CD you're talking about now. Itwas a thrash/punk ideal, which came to very little acclaim all around.
When Capitol records and Dave Mustaine felt it was time to remaster all of his Capitol work, MD. 45, of course, was worked on. The master tapes for the vocals were tragically lost, and so the copy you have I'm betting has Dave Mustaine doing all the vocals. Lee Ving originally did them, but Mustaine re-recorded them for the remaster.
It's alright, if you like saxophones.
