I tune to C# standard and I'm using 11s. They work well for me.

I used to use 11s in Eb, and 13s in C, but I've stopped tuning to C and Eb and started using 10s for E.

I use 11s and tune to D, but used to do C# and they work fine in both.

My BC rich has really high action and im not sure how to adjust it, so I just strap on 12's and tune down to D, if I use 11's then the first fret on the g, b and high E wont play right.
But on my other one I just use standard tuning and 10's.

I've heard that changing your tuning alot will damage your guitar, is this true?

its only bad if you have a floyd, and you dont adjust your truss rod and neck accordingly, but this can only be bad for adverse tuning changes, like if you go from E to C or something like that.

Using .10's, I can tune down to B on my BC Rich. I love the way tremelo sounds on a thin gauge, almost like COnstant Pinch Harmonics.
