the 24th fret is too high or the 23rd fret is too low. Make sure the neck is straight.
I'd just take it to a pro. It shouldnt be to hard to fix.

are you sure that the action isn't so low that when you press the 23rd or the 24th fret down the string touches the pickup? that actually happened to me once...

raising the bridge would help it but it might not completely fix it if its real bad.
The only problem I can think of is just that the action would be higher and it wouldnt be as easy to play.

Since its probably just those two frets, I'd suggest just going to a luthier or a local music store and have them fix the problem. A good luthier could probably fix it without even taking the strings off and for a mere $25. Thats just about as much as my luthier would charge, but I dont know how someone else would charge you. Overall, its not that big of a job so it shouldnt be too much.

Oh yeah, next time you post, PLEASE speak like someone who isn't retarded. It really makes it hard to understand what you're trying to say when you type like that.

People who use shorthand should be shot.

Either its a problem with your neck, or you are just going insane.
