Please excuse my supidity but do drums have a sertain life to them. I am thinking about buying a second hand set from Here. They are: Roland TD6 Eletronic Drums, EXTRA TD 120 PAD & CASE.

Are these any good? Will they crap out on me 6 months down the line?

well roland electronic stuff is pretty good, not being an electronic drummer I can't comment too hard but it sounds like an okay deal, maybe a bit pricey but as I said I am out of touch with electronic bits n peaices but from my knowledge that sound pretty good.

I would think electronic drums whould last longer than acoustic drums. They should last more than 6 months, and also it may have a warranty. But i dont know, i dont play electronics.

the only problem with electronic stuff is if they do g\crap out (less likely than aco stuff, like skins breaking...) is it is a fuckload harder to repair repairing buggered circuitry is way harder than replacing a split skin, but I would say go for it if you want an electric kit it seems like a good deal.
