New Cannibal Album
I was reading in the forum at CC's site, and Alex said that him and Pat will MOST
likely be doing the next album by themselves. (don't quote me)
They say that Jeremy, Jack's replacement is still kinda iffy in the band ,and he will not be on their, which kinda sucks because he is obviously pretty talented to play with them.
On a very good note though, Alex did mention it will be their most Brutal music to date......hahahahahahaha

Of course he's going to say it's their most brutal work to date. He's not going to say "...well, this new album isn't going to be as hard as the other albums, and the riffs are kind of weak. My bass fills will be non-existent, and we are really writing this album as a tribute to our favorite Slayer album 'God Hates Us All'. There won't be a single original riff, lead, or fill on the entire album." Every band that comes out with a new album pimps it up and it means nothing.
If the Wretched Spawn is any indication, it should be a good album. The Wretched Spawn showed a lot of maturation and evolution musically. They seemed stuck in a rut on Gore Obsessed, which sounded too much like Bloodthirst and Gallery for me to like it that much. Hopefully they'll keep progessing, I'd like to see where they are going with this.

Pat and Alex write the best riffs. Fuck, they wrote From Skin to liquid together. Pat wrote Frantic Disembowelment and Alex wrote Bent Backwards broken. If all the tracks sounded as good as those, then this will be their best release with George Fisher.
Only, Pauls drumming gets real boring. I hope he does some more interesting things on the new one instead of just PATTAPATTAPATTAPATTAPATTA for 3 minutes straight.

The only problem is that the album probably won't be out 'til 2006 or possibly even '07, judging that there are almost always two years, if not three between albums nowadays, but no matter what happens I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
