Chord Progressions

Can someone post examples of good songs that use (I, IV, V, I) chord progression?

I'm sure there's some decent variations of that out there, but a metal song written with that chord progression exactly as it is would suck monkey nuts. I wouldn't know of any that use that, cause it sucks!! I'm all for V - I endings but if your whole progressions is I IV V I then its just gonna sound all wussy and not very metal at all.

yeah, that progression is used in a huge portion of rock songs, like anything by the beatles and stuff like that. as far as metal goes i cant think of any, usually the guitar work is more advanced

Yeah, I know what you guys are saying that's why I posted it up here in hopes someone could help me find a song with this progression that's actually good. I have an assignment for a Music Theory class and I need to bring in some songs with this proggression but the only songs I could find are fuckin X-Mas carols. If you can tell me some examples of good songs (doesn't have to be metal) I'd appreciate it.

Wooly Bully? Wild Thing. Just thinking of these makes me crack up.
Also 90 frikkin % of blues in the world. I'm not sure but how about Red House, I love that song (I've heard it played by Hendrix, but I think someone else wrote it).

Sweet Home Alabama is an almost good example, though it's like VI-V-I-I (if you get my point). And it's not a very good song, imo.

metal songs tend to all have have different chord progressions, but it's usually something like I-ii-V7 or some wierd crap like that.
