Suggestions
It's hard to here about good metal bands since the majority of people in the US are conformist little pricks, listening to shit for music, so I was hoping for some band suggestions to check out, as I only have heard of a few. My main 3 are Metallica, Iced Earth, and Blind Guardian, and I love them all to death.

Sounds like you're edging towards power metal. I'm not the ideal person to be suggesting power metal bands, since I'm not into the genre and all. I'm sure other people here will enlighten you.
