*shrug* while it's no midian by any stretch of the imagination, i really liked it. people just need to realize cradle of filth is more or less a different band now and accept it as such.

anyway, i like it. i like the melodic portions and there are a lot of good parts that appeal to me. as said many times before, it doesnt match up to the previous stuff, but it still gets my approval. i guess becuase i dont base my opinions on music in ways concerning change or the amount of posers that have collected in the background. OR the way musicians/them look and act. or even their fucking intentions. yes, i do think dani has terrible intentions: fame, stardom, mainstream. but that really has no effect on his voice, choice of lyrics, or the melodic guitar i have come to love on every CoF album. thats it for me  |
