You can buy an iTrip for the iPod which playes chordless on any radio. And where is their bases for these accusations on this 18-mounth battery life? One iPod battery dying in 18 mounths dosen't mean that all will. I've got at least 2 friends, come to think of it, that have had an iPod since the same mounth it came out and haven't had this trouble.

iRiver make the best mp3 players - my brother has the iHP-240 model and it's pretty damn impressive. Its small, compact and has the best features of any mp3 that I've seen. They're expensive though, but ultimately worth it.

Man, I never let my headphones go up over 5 and 3/4 [on a 9 and 3/3 volume metre] But my ears are still getting fucked. I mean I listen to headphones like at least an hour a day, and more if I'm learning or tabbing a song, which is often [hence the at least]. Man, I realise my hearing is going, and that's whay I reduced it. Wither way I never used to let it get above 7. Man, I think that they aren't really sooo safe. But, oh well. I still use them just as much.
