Cheap Cab's
I tried searching about this, but I didn't find jack, but if there is something lurking around, I'm sorry.
Ok, I NEED A NEW CAB! This old combo im using sucks ass, and so far a peavey cab (can't remember the model, but it was like $400-$600ish can), and a Marshall MG412 Cabinet, thats what I can get at the local music store, but another question is, will these cabs support a good tube amp when the time comes (I think they will hold up fine, but I want to make sure I know what I'm getting into).

the mg cabs stink and they're tiny and most tube heads are more wide then those cabs.
how's about avatar cabs or getting something used? I mean, cabs don't really break down much, if you can find something decent used...

Well the thing is, I want to get the cab here, if i get it thru ebay, then customs/shipping will fuck me in the ass, and i might as well get it here, also the selection is kind of crappy, marshalls, randalls, and peavey, thats what i have to work with.

Yea my cab cost 200, and 100 to ship. Still worth 300 tho.

I think i get flamed for this:
Behringer Ultrastack BG412
I played it with my Peavey Supreme XL and it sounds really great. Unfortunately it wasn't my cab. But if i've got money, i'll buy this cab.
It's got 4x12" 100W jensen speakers. You can change it from 16Ohm Mono to 2x8Ohm Stereo. In Germany you get for 239€.

Randall cabs are cool, they all have celestions in them and the XL is kinda neat you can get it with either GT-75's or V30's.

i don't think avatar can ship outside of the u.s. but it's worth a try i suppose. they make really good stuff.
the peavey ms412is probably the nicest cab you can get for a low low low cost... i used to own one, $200 used... and it sounded good, those sheffeild 1290's really sing and belt out good tight lows with a nice head.
metalthrashingmad, i'm almost %90 sure the ms412 is what you're talking about... unless you're lucky enough to have stumbled upon a defaced 5150 cab for the low price of $200. that'd be even sweeter...

Randall cabs sound pretty good and arent too pricey, whatever you get, try to get something made out decent wood like birch ply...stay away from anything that isnt 'PLY'. As cheaper cabs are sometimes made high density particle board which turns your sound to mud at high volumes. Best cabs I have ever heard would be SOLDANO.

this isnt a thread about what the best cabs are, it's about what cabs that arent complete crap are the cheapest.
