Just a little something for you to tear up. Thanks for the read. More a poem than a song.
"Emotion"
Run my fingers along your face.
Tears welling in my eyes.
So much to say but no words come
As we pray in silence for a way
To say feelings we share.
So deep in every pore, in every murmur.
A kiss, lips barely touching
As fire consumes.
My fingers bleed love into your veins,
Swelling breath from down deep.
Exchanging whispers in fervent passion
Known only in dreams from another lifetime.
Clinging to a hope of what could be real.
Someday seeking and finding
The perfect blend like spices
In ambrosia of souls that meld.
But softly I awaken and my feet are cold.
The eyes that held mine so ardently
Have melted into a memory's sweet smile.
Shadows that swirled are stilled
And the chanting is quiet as the snow falls.
I close my eyes and reach out beside me
My heart quickening as I feel the warmth still there.
More than a memory.

i can relate with it and it just stood out as soon as i read it.

That would make a very good morbid black metal song. Something really slow with a sweet sounding grand piano (or keyboard, whatever) in the backround.
It does kick ass, though. My compliments.  |
