Decent 4 track?

Haven't got a clue about these to be honest

Just want to record something, a rough demo, get something going.

Anyone recommend a cheap, efficient one?

Cheers.

A built in tape deck, or is that any disadvantage?

for quality i'd say digital is better.. you can record onto it, and then edit shit on it or your comupter... and burn cds(either through a built in cd burner or a computer with a burner.)

but the tape deck ones are cheaper... and quite conveinient...

like the tascam mf-po1, only $100 and it's a 4 track recorder with a cassest deck built on.

re

Yeah, that tascam one looks perfect for starting off for me.

Just want to record a demo, sound is not a mighty concern like, just want to put something on tape and get starting.

The Tascam 4 track perfect for that? Easy to use etc?
