im probably going to loose all respect for saying this, but whatever, i like slipknot. i think theyre a really good band who make good music. ok their last album wasnt as good as their others even tho theyre made it more technical, but theyre still my favorate band.

i havent been on this board for a long time, but i have noticed that saying slipknot is like saying a swear word in church. ok, not a very good comparison.

i was just wondering what people felt about them. i kno it sound like a stupid question but i wanna see how many people like them and how many dont and i wanna kno y they dont like if they dont like em.

needless to say we get people here every now and then who start rambling on about this shitty band. I've seen them live (I had too) and they sucked. Only a 14 year old without imagination has a right to like them.
The music was shit, it still is (though maybe less worse then it was) and the show was absolutely gay. not a little bit, more like Mr. Garisson gay.

overall I dislike Dicksnot fans, the only ones I allways see are the guys on the street wearing way to big jeans, spike braclets and mascara. I don't know any decent slipknot fans so hell, I don't believe there ARE any.

Never liked them. Heard some of the new album and it was litenable, but it didn't tickle my pickle. Solos sounded like they were ripping of Slayer, at least the ones I heard. That song "Vermillion," they need to stop playing that video on the Headbanger's Ball, they should play some Mastodon in place of it.

Not again. There are about 3 maybe 4 million threads that talk about this band and in all fairness some parts of what they call music are not that bad. Just parts though. It is also fair to say that as a whole the band, it's music, and what they pertend to be suck compared to other solid metal bands. It's hard to like them when you become use to hearing better bands. I believe that it's Slipknot posing as a metal band that makes most people dislike them here the most and not so much the way they sound. I hate their message, if there really is a message.

I surely don't care about slipknot entering metal territory, I don't even think they do so much, or at least, I can't find those qualities. that Mick can play guitar, sure. but the overall sound of the band just bores me. and lets not start about their apperance.
