That "Feedback Detection System" porbbaly sucks ass so if their a way to bypass it then thats good. Its only an EQ not like it has to do much.. should get the job done fine.

if you can't control the noise gate/feedback destroyer, or at least bypass it than i'd say stay away...
i'm sure the eq'ing is good though, but 120 is a bit steep(that's like $90-ish u.s. right?)...

I have a dual 15 band DOD eq but it has very precise controls cause well.. look at this pic http://www.dod.com/graphiceqs/sr830.htm
bets thing is it only cost $40
15 is almost too much for me, I would lose my mind with a 30 band eq

haha, yeh i think even like a 7-10 band eq is good for basic eq adjusting that most people want... dual 31's are for audiophiles that require and strive for absolutely perfect eq'ing and sound.... but then again people that really care about their eq'ing and sound that much probably wouldnt settle for a cheapo behringer...
find a used msp 1000, it has a single 15 band graphic eq, plus other goodies that can prove useful...
very nice units you're lucky enough to find one, they're hella cheap and sound really good... if this trade i'm doing with this guy(my jmp-1,msp 1000, and classic 50/50 for his mesa mark III head) fails to go through i'd be willing to sell you mine...

It doesnt have a noise gate man it just points out where the noise is so that if you want it to go away you can, and if you dont, well fuck that...

i use a Sampson 31 band EQ. its extremely frustrating to get the sound how you like it, but once you do its pretty fuckin sweet. enhanced my tone so much

I like the 230 because it fits in one rack space mainly... and its two channels.
