I work in shifts in the weekends, so that makes great money and I work extra days whenever I can. and with me beeing an adult and all, I get a pretty good wage an hour.
those Ipod things are nice but I didn't buy one because they're expensive, plus portable audio shit is easy to steal and all. this sony thing was like 120 euro's, so thats just as much as a decent portable cd player. I allways carried a cd thing around with 20 cds, now I just put some shit on that mp3 player. less risk of losing the cds and shit too. |

that's right, quality is excellent if you rip mp3's at a decent bitrate.
plus its easy to carry around and it has no moving parts (70 hours on one AAA battery and no skipping..)

The only thing i dislike on mine is that when the LCD screen is lighted you can hear a buzz in the phones, but its not much of a problem anyways when the music goes on, and it turns off in a few seconds.

i have a shitty 128mb player, its annoying 'cause everyday I upload new tracks on it because I get bored easily, and I didnt get broaband until half an hour ago, so i can download Mp3's! Heh i'm listening to fairies wear boots!
I'm thinking about getting that Creative Labs Zen 60GB thing, cheaper than an Ipod and i heard that its got better features like more advanced eq and shit.

the only problem is, is that their bulky - it uses the standard laptop 2.5 inch hard drive while i think apple has exclusivity of the 1.5 inch or something.

I have an mp3 player, it's 235 mb or somthing like that, the normal twohundredsomthing size, don't remember how much that is so 235 is a wild guess.
I cant really say that I need anything bigger than that. I can get enough songs on there. Two of my friends have iPods thoug and I must say that it is really cool but still, my mp3 player is enough for me.

yeah about 18,000 i think. I don't use my Mp3 player anyway, i just carry my cd player and 10 cd's into school eachday
Edit: thats the same as my computer! Its a laptop hard-drive, so it pretty small.

mine is from mediamarkt too, I bought it today.

128mb too but its a sony with sonicstage (like my sony vaio laptop) so it can fit a lot more songs on 128 mb, I have 5 cds on my mp3 thing now and it still has space left. Atrac3pro format or something but it still sounds like cd quality. |
