what do you guys think of the ex-400 bd guitar. What is the wood quality of the body and neck? Do you think this guitar would serve well as a metal (Old Metallica, Megadeth etc) and mainly hardcore stuff(Poison the Well, Atreyu and Hopesfall).

One of the guys from Atreyu plays one, as does Balsac from GWAR. Good guitars for the money, go play one.

anyway, go play it. Personally, I liked the EX-400 very much, and I think the BD version looks absolutely gorgeous. Ltd 400's are generally high quality, so no worries about that. Mahogany fits this guitar very good IMO, and the 3-piece maple/rosewood neck feels good to me.

but don't listen to my blahblahblah go play it.
