Well, I finally downloaded some Burzum. I believe the song was Key to the Gate or something like that. I didn't care for it that much, it was way too boring. There is no variety in his music which is something I look for when I listen to anything. I also downloaded some songs from Chimera. Damn, pretty good stuff. Why didn't I get into Mayhem any sooner?

Yeah, Euronymous made them for the other three members of Mayhem and, I'm not possitive if it's true, but they all cooked part of Dead's brain. They thought that they'd get more grim and necro if they did!
Also, I read interviews with Varg before and just after the murder and it was like he'd changed everything he believed in over the space of 4-6 months!

Well, all Burzum material is very repeatative. The repeatativeness works fine when the there are some good melodies in the song, otherwise it might be too monotonic.
One should try "Jesus Tod" song from Burzum, I think there Burzum manages to make this very fine. |

Varg is a good musician, he hasn't a good technique but i like his riffs, hvis lysset tar oss, filosofem or aske are vey very good BM albums, i like this "monotonie" of burzum's songs but the "new burzum style" it is not metal, in fact, varg does not want to be associated with BM anymore
I dont care if Varg has racist ideas, i listen to his music and i am not a NS, also, i dont care if Varg dies, he killed euronymous and convert Mayhem into a patethic group... if he dies, i will not start to cry

The Swastika was a symbol of luck to Jews. Hitler inverted it, adopted it as his standard and then systematically tried to erradicate Jews from the face of the planet. He wasn't the nicest of people, so when people adopt him as a from-beyond-the-grave mentor it makes me sick.

swqastika has a lot of meanings.... but knowadays only the "Hitlers meaning" is remembered, it is a pity because swastika is....hipnotic, it is a very strange symbol, here in spain we have a symbol that looks like an swastika but it is not, it symbolizes the four states of the Basque Country and silly people insult people who wear it in favour the independence of the Basque Country...

many cultures had the swastika before hitler came along, but the one he took it from was the northern pagan version. notice how it is titlted. when the pagans would carve into wood, they would often have their symbols with no stright lines sideways or else it might look like it was part of the grain of the wood and be mistaken as something else. to him and the pagans it was a symbol that represented the four virtues a good pagan "aryan" should have

jesu' dřd is a fantastic song. quite repetitive but has two of his best riffs (the opening one, and the third one, which is also played from about 6:50 onwards). "feeble screams from forests unknown" is a great track, about 8 or 9 different riffs over 7 and a half minutes and the clearest ability to hear his vocal work.
but i believe "det som engang var" (the song) is his best song. it's incredible. |

the swastika first appeared in the middle east
there are a lot of "hate" symbols, that is... things like the triskele and the sun cross that have been adopted to various WN/WP usages
all of them have root in honorable cultural tradition. the triskele looks almost like a swastika, but is infact on the board of transportations seal here in the US. the type with three 7's is the racist one though. ive seen all sorts of varitaions, even one with three legs connected to a head in the middle...weird,but cool. i was just questioning his suncross icon, especially because it looks exactly like the one on the don black's stormfront page.
