18 months..
Ipod's are extremely overpriced. You can get a better mp3 player for less... plus Apple makes Ipods..

after about a year and a half, you might need a new battery, thats what the guy at best buy said, but you can get a 3-year servicing program deal for 50 bucks, they fix anything, screens, buttons, and replace the battery for that 50 bucks, for apple to replace it it's 100 bucks. i am quite fond of it so far, it works quite well

i like the simplicity of the iPods, they are very easy to use, and they have games, and they are one of the smallest i have seen for the amount of storage they have.

Just bought a big-ass electrical converter, so I can use the comp I brought over from Europe. $47... that shit hurts, but at least it won't run like shit and I'll be playing Doom 3 and other games soon enough.
I wish I could find a job so I can earn enough for an electric guitar with a good amp and stuff, but I'm about $650 away. :P

Mine freezes every once in a while, when it does you have to reset it. As for the pausing, i think on the newer models, if the headphone plug comes out, it will automaticly pause.

I hope you realise that if I was in the UK right now you'd have half your face blown off and I'd have your ticket. Consider yourself lucky this time.

Yeah, this gig is going to be awesome. I had a deal with Nihilist many moons ago that I'd help send a band over to Oz if he managed to get Psycroptic to come over to Blighty. Well, Psycro just played the UK so I'll have a word! Or at least paint a sign saying, "Oz is over there -->"
I'm wet already thinking about this gig.

And you didn't even go to the Psycro gig! right?
Thanks, but you better do anything, AND I MEAN ANYTHING, to make sure this happens. Here's an idea that doesn't involve sucking their cocks:
Come up with some dandy scheme to make them steal a loaf of bread, then dob them in and they'll be forced to come here in chains for AT LEAST 7 YEARS! Yay! Then I'll convince the authorities that instead of hard labour, Muhammed should have to teach me guitar instead. Now get to work Johnny!!

Tenhi - Väre
Not metal, but fucking great neofolk. Monumental, nebulous and very deep/drone stuff which finds itself as a soundtrack of a travel into the wilderness.
Katharsis - 666
A 'not-so-typical' copy of Darkthrone. Pure audial hate and chaos.
Magog/Nebiros split
Bad vocals can ruin good music.
Lunar Aurora/Paysage d'Hiver split
Finally I got this. Paysage d'Hiver never fails, hypnotic, cold breezing and estetic music which can easily slumber one into mind's deepest halls. Lunar Aurora's side was also good and is quite similiar as Paysage d'Hiver, though it doesn't have this particular 'soul' which makes Paysage d'Hiver unique.
Summoning - Let Mortal Heroes Sing Your Fame
Yes Summoning. The band which has awoken the ancient epic spirit from the middle ages. They always manage to innovate something new, in this particular release the music is very symphonic and melodic (almost non-metal), even though it sometimes falls into repeatness, yet still the candle hasn't extinguished.
Xasthur - To Violate The Oblivious
I talked something about repeatness, well this is the purest form of it. In here everything is same as it was on their debut "A Gate Through Bloodstained Mirrors", though this style of music is great. Somewhat a darker and more laconic version of Burzum. The point in here is that one only should buy a single release from Xasthur to hear what their were/are/will be.

Capharnaum - Fractured
Beheaded - Ominious Bloodline (Yay! I'll be amongst the first to get it)
Odious Mortem - Devouring The Prophecy
Cryptopsy - None So Vile
Wormed - Planisphaerium
I already had the last two on CD-R since I've had no luck finding them in CD stores. But now I will get the real versions. Yippee!

Get a wired one.. its cheaper and better.
Wireless mouses and keyboards have no purpose.. none at all, its like you sit 15 feet away from your computer.

Emperor suck.. alot.
Good bedtime music though!
Just odd to see a list of brutal death metal.. than two extremely boring cd's at the end of the list.

How the fuck is Anthems boring? Emperor are classic, an absolute exception to the rule that black metal is boring.
Well, I think I just might up Innards here. CD's bought in last 2 months:
Emperor - Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk digipak thingy (with vids on the disc and shit)
Emperor - In The Nightside Eclipse (same digipak thingy)
Spawn Of Possession - Cabinet
Severed Saviour - Brutality Is Law
Deeds Of Flesh - Trading Pieces
Deeds Of Flesh - Inbreeding The Anthropohagi
Deeds Of Flesh - Path Of The Weakening
Gorguts - Considered Dead & The Erosion Of Sanity Re-Release
Defeated Sanity - Prelude To The Tragedy
Pyaemia - Cerebral Cereal
Cryptopsy - Blasphemy Made Flesh
Gorgasm - Masticate To Dominate
Necrophagist - Epitaph
Necrophagist - Onset re-release
Godless Truth - Arrogance Of Supreme Power
Decrepit Birth - And Time Begins....
Nile - Black Seeds Of Vengeance
Krisiun - Bloodshed
Visceral Bleeding - Transcend Into Ferocity*
Beheaded - Ominious Bloodline*
Odious Mortem - 'something?' The Prophecy (Fuck, I always forget this)*
Cryptopsy - None So Vile*
Wormed - Planisphaerium*
*= Ordered, but not yet recieved.
24 by my count. Fair few, eh? Mainly because of my new-found confidence in ordering online (its bloody hard to get decent shit where I live).
EDIT: Also, Capharnaum - Fractured. Make that 25.
Now I'm waiting for Nihilist to come along and post the 250 CD's he bought in the last week.

Im just waiting till I can get down to Metal Mayhem, i have a sizeable gift voucher and a fair bit of money in the bank
The last lot I bought were:
LIBIDO AIRBAG - Miss Melanoma (jap. version w/ bonus track)
- Obscure, all electronic grind, like the chemical brothers, but grind. Somehow really good.
ENGORGED - Where Monsters Dwell
- Yet to give it the listen it deserves
Maniac Killer - Anecdotes for the Depraved
- This CD just clicked with me from the begining, i really enjoy it, Neil is a good, creative songwriter.
GIGANTIC BRAIN - The Invasion Discography
- The underpiglet crawls the universe at high speeds eating anything with a heartbeat!
LENG TCH'E - Man Made Predator
- How can anyone not like razorgrind from the hood y'all. Grind with groove.
TU CARNE - Me quedo con tu dolor
- Spanish porn grind. Meaty, pitch shifted, off colour pictures of female genitalia, what more could you want?

Yep crisps are potato chips.
Wine gums are like fruit pastilles, without the sugar coating. They're not sour, not particularly sweet, but are fruity and have a "mellow" flavour to them.
Edit: Also a bit tangy. Lol

Oh yeah, but some here would say Mortician's music is worth it. I think it's their cheap sound and the horror movie intros that makes me like them, it's hard to explain.

yeah same here, the intros are fun and i love the music, it's simple and roger beaujard is not someone i'd list as an inspiration, but they are quite a good band to listen to. it's fairly sad that a lot of people hate them, but each to their own. at least you have some sense in you

I discovered this yesturday, it's from their new album. Amazing how their sound has been the same for years. But what is this intro from? It's obviously from a zombie movie.

Neuropathia is amazing. I love their vocals in Uncle Frank, but I can't anything else by them anywhere. I'm probably going to have to order thier album. Was it Graveyard Cowboys?

And I thought I was the only one to know them as well

I spent $127 on 3 double bass strings, and $40 to re-hair my bow. I think I may buy a chair sometime in the future too, to sit in.
