Getting a new guitar.
Okay so as im probably going to get a new guitar, i have my mind set on Ibanez. They offer great guitars for the money and several of the RG prestige models are on a sale at the local music shop.
These are the models i have considered:
RG 1550 and 1570, the only difference is that the 1550 has a pickguard and maple fretboard. And there is a special edition 1550 with Mahogany body, flamed maple top and gold hardware that is just some bucks more.
All of these have the Edge Pro tremolo. Then we have the highest Bolt-On model available here before the neck-thrus come in, this is also on a sale, the 2620QM. Its got mahogany body, quilted maple top, "dimarzio" p/u's and Edge Pro. Its got no middle single coil but hell i can live with that.
Ive tried a model in the RG Prestige series and i thought it was good, the 2550, it had a good neck and felt good allover, so i reckon the models i have mentioned before are good too. The one i tried is more expensive than the others for some reason, maybe because its got the GK System.
So what do you think?

I don't think you can go wrong with a quality Ibanez.
Have you played the "s" series? I like them for the slim ass body.

I'm getting an Ibanez 7321, yes i know, they aren't very good but it's the only fucking 7 I can get 
I wanted a Schecter but not a chance. I'm gonna replace the bridge pup with an EMG anyway, that'll sort it out.
I've only played one Ibanez before and I was pissed but it felt decent. I'd go for one  |

You can get a used rg7620 for about $300..
which BLOWS the 7321 away

I've played neither of them but I think the 1550 looks cooler.

I have played the 1550, its a great guitar, but if wanna get the 2550ex, go for that one then.

Anyway, yeah, most rgs with edges are decent... but the prestiges are where its at.
