what is the best method of distortion? through a really good amp or through a really good pedal?
which is the best distortion pedal out and which is the best amp to use for distortion.

lol, its all about your personal preferance, there are so many amps that give you a differant sound of distortion, but pedals are a little differant, probably the mt-2 or a digitech pedal, i dunno, but you cant really say with an amp.

I like my sound through a Boss MD-2 and a kustom bass amp, it gives it this sludgy cratey sound. But its always fun to plug into a 5150 and go ape shit with the 2x2 cab.
