Dude, I'm a chick, I play guitar and bass, and i dont suck at it. I know what you dudes mean when you say chicks cant play though, coz other that me and a couple of people i know, I've hardly ever seen a girl pick up a guitar around here. And those rare times they do, they want somebody to teach them, and expect to know how to do it straight away. A few seconds later, when they realise the strings hurt their fingers, they give up and try to turn off the music you're listening to and put the radio on. Yes. I may be a chick myself, but i can still hate most the girls i know.
But yeah, most girls suck at music, but there are EXCEPTIONS. like i said, i play guitar and bass, I got two guitarist friends one of which also plays bass, my sister's a bass player, and i've got 2 drummer friends who kick major ass. Also a friend (guitarist) who can scream cannibal corpse style.
But other than these friends of mine, I've never seen a girl who can play any guitars or anything.
Besides, a large majority of guy guitarists suck because they're diehard metallica fans who've never played anything but metallica, and only learn the guitar in the first place to impress girls. It doesn't work. But I haven't encountered any dudes like that on this forum. Im sure they're lurking somewhere though...
Yep, had to throw all that in coz I was readin all that shit about girl guitarists ... but its like 99% true so meh.

i dont know any chicks that play guitar but i know allot of chicks do like guitarist but the other thing is allot of them like guitarist for pop punk bands such as blink 182,simple plan and so-on,
and when you guys were talkin bout hot chicks with hot guitar picks...
