That's what i'm using to write the drums for my band.
Anyway, what with all the influx of "sad-soudning" riffs in the music theory forum....i put this together. So...I dunno, if you want to refer to it...then, whatever.
n.b. I didn't write it on guitar, all on PT.....

Nice! I really like the intro, and the slightly faster bits in the middle (with the sustained notes), couple of bits i'd personally change, but still great work

I actually messed around with that and found out it's oh so very easy to make that sound like the happiest Luca Turilli song ever....

Hello everyone. I've been reading this forum for about two years now, so I know most of the people around here well, even if they don't know me (That sounded unintentionally creepy didn't it? Don't worry, I'm only fourteen.) Here's a few songs of mine:

Here they are!!
Criticism, comments appreciated.
I only got Powertab a few weeks ago. I love it.
I really wish my style was more death-metallish but... I can't tune down due to being in school bands, that of course use standard....and I haven't really "got" a death-ish feel yet. Ah well......
WHAT???!? The "Manage Attachments" button won't work!!!! This is really annoying!!!

Sorry if i confused you. What I meant to sday was that in the "Edit post" page, the "Manage Attachments" button just did......nothing. Nothing happened, no loading of a page, nothing. I just kept clicking. If it's a simple problem, I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to computers.

No, I hadn't even got to getting the attachments yet, the button just wouldn't load anything.....
EDIT: Hang on, it might work now.......
EDIT: If not, where could I upload it?

first off, that sample sounds bad fuckin ass. Would you be willing to share the .wav samples of the real drums sounds. I'm using FL Studio 5 and their drum sounds are weak, esp the high-hat. I can't find a slightly opened hi hat sound. Anyone got some authenic drum sounds?

Cheers bud!
I've got about 5 or so drum tracks I wanna modify. I can't get the right sound from the samples FL studio 5 has built in. I've tried searchin the web for hours lookin for places to download sounds, but couldn't find but a couple crashes n shit. Thanks much younguitarist, I'mma fuck with it... I'll post my shit once I get something good out of it.

last year my parents got me a first act($25or less) accoustic for christmas.it was back when i was a huge malmsteen fan. that summer i got bored. so i scalloped the frets(nail filed), ripped off the bridge and moved it further back.
i switch off with nylon and steel strings. in this song i used steel and its in standard tuning(the best tuning). if ur thinking about scalloping ur frets buy a cheap accoustic guitar and bring it to a luther, that way u wont loose alot, if its not ur feel. if ur dumb/deaf(no hearing) ill let u in on a secret its in the key of D dorian. d,e,f,g,a,b,c,d

I really like this song MoonRaven. It would sound better if the outro was harmonized IMO like this..

Yea I would really want to listen to them if they aren't guitar pro or Power Tab. I don't have neither so I don't know how they work, and I can't open them cuz I don't have those two programs. It seems from reading the post that these files weren't physically played but done through the program. Not sure if I'm right though.
Here http://malek.hijazi.us is a demo cover for Kissing the Shadows by COB. I bought an SM 57 for recording the guitars (instead of a direct box) and several other low priced mics for the drums and an SM 58 for vocals with the worst mic preamp on earth. So the quality has improved since ED, and my technicality has improved a little as well. It is played all in one stretch which was a little frusterating cuz everytime I do a mistake I got to start over. I'll probably get spewed with an ocean of insults again. Whoever does listen to it ignore the intro scream. I was just warming my self up.

Haha, it was awesome. I liked it a lot. You sound like a goblin, not that is a bad thing. I like the goblin sound. Pretty good quality for home equipment. Sounds way better than Every Time I Die.

Did you use the C# tuning ? 'cause sometimes I thought It was a bit higher in pitch than the original.
