for a distortion pedal for a beginner it is good, its not like hes gonna get a head or great combo amp right away, he should just have an mt-2 goin through some shitty amp |

This guitar seems pretty nice. I havent played it so I cant so. A good first guitar.
And an Mt-2 does suck, although for someone new like himself, it wouldn't be a bad thing to have.

does n e one think the IBANEZ RG370DX is a good guitar to choose??? i tryed it at a shop and i think its really nice! its about £300 there though! lol

sweet guitar man. definatly a nice beginners guitar. Looks like a EsP/Ltd
Viper series ??? how much did you pay ??? Anyway your looking for FX pedals
i wouldnt buy the MT2, my opion it sucks, same with the DS1. nice pedals to fuck around with but i never play with them on a consistant basis. just save up for better pickups or a kick ass tube amp.i was never much work fx pedals i like RAW tube power.

Not bad. I still prefer raw necks though. But that is a very good low end guitar.
