i am just looking for some opinions on how you guys think it flows, its kinda typical death metal, i am trying tork work a second guitar part during the straight powerchord riffs, but thatll come later

Cant really tell how good it is. I cant look at a tab and know how its supposed to sound. Try recording it.

hmm pretty good, ive heard intros like that before, my freind wrote somthing on power tabs the other month and it looks pretty the exact same.

EDIT this is h4x5k8 not M=L, he never fuckin logs off when he uses my comp

It sounds good, but i think i missed something, i mean whats with that big break? The rest is good though.

the bass is gonna play the line that the guitar plays after, i just didnt feel like tabbing a bass line. got the idea from CC - Hammer Smashed Face

btw, the intro kinda sounds like LoG's "11th hour"

Yeah, I also liked the first half better.

Btw Moon, did you mainly use theory/scales to write your song, or did you 'do what sounds good'?

i usually just dick around with random riffs, until i find some that go together, then i link them with something, and i keep adding until i have a song. i am finishing a tab on a song i wrote this way, and i will post it when im done, usually these songs get pretty long, the one im gonna post is between 9-10 minutes long.
OR
i have a riff, and i play it until i add more to have a song, thats how i wrote the one i have posted in this thread, i had the intro riff, and i just kept playing until i felt it was finished.
