Um, yes. Sex in a bottle of a band. I really like it how they create a very etheral feeling with their acoustic guitars, but don't go over the top, the acoustics are more of an icing on the cake. Roll in the opinions, my pretties.

well, astriaal is an extremely delicious band that currently holds the crown of australian black metal, after atomizer's "only weapon of choice" album, allowed them to stand down.

with the more acoustic parts than usual, i can feel an opeth-style atmosphere but with much faster, more extreme heavy parts. with plenty of music under their belt, watch out for this band in the future. and black metal bashers, no paint anywhere in sight.

fuckin love the band to death. "renascent misanthropy" doesnt top atomizers "D+M+D+A", but this isnt an atomizer thread so, astriaal slays!!

the lead singer does wear a robe though!!

i will admit that they are a more tollerable black metal band though,

well anyway, Astriaal are one of the few black metal bands that I listen to these days. Good drummer.
