you can normally browse the used market and see how much other people are selling those items for.
or.... you can check the blue book pricing, i think they have a link through harmony central when you go to view or post classified adds you can check blue book pricings.
don't bother looking into local stores, they rip people off. normally they buy it off of you for about 60% of what they're going to sell it for.. so say if you wanna sell your 5150, they'll only give you like $250-300 for it, why do that when you could put it on ebay or set up a classified add and get almost double that?
pawn shops are even worse.
