double pedal and double bass

I was just thinking back to all the things i learned how to do when i got my double pedal. I thought some of the info might help some begginers. Well anyways, i got my double pedal for my birthday 2 years ago. For the first month i practiced using doubles. It was pretty hard at first but i got it down after a while. I remember just trying to see how i could do straight double bass. It was fun at the time but pointless. I remember when i first started listening to lamb of gods drummer do the triplets, i thought he was amazing. I practiced doing them slow and got it down pretty good in about a week and a half. I started practicing doing straight double bass with mixed up random patterns and that seemed to speed me up to where i am today. At the moment, im working on blast beats. And thats my story.

hmmm... i got my double pedals 6 months ago and i started out with playing basic beats... then i putted double pedals in like triplets
and when i got a little used to my double pedals i started practising with
Children of Bodom:s songs (like Bodom Beach Terror) in guitar pro started from tempo (50) and i got it up to (180)
and now im good as i am i practised 2-5 hours/day with doubles and it was worth it :>

set your metronome at a high BPM (I went at 150) and go 'duh duh duh duh rlrlrlrlrlrlrlrlrrlrlrlrlrlrl duh duh duh duhd rlrlrlrlrlrlrlrlrlrlrlrlrlrll)

in a pattern so for 4 beats you are just doing it on the beat, then for the next 4 you are going super fast (32nds) keep this up for 10 minutes on, ten minutes off for an hour and you will notice a HUGE improvement over a short space of time

that is what I did,

Try using your left foot instead of right for a couple minutes everytime you practice. Just make up a simple beat and use your left instead of right.
