Creepy Solos
Well I suggest using Locrian Double Flat 7th and/or Augmented, Diminished, and Natural Minor Modes. Also finding notes outside of said scales will be pleasing to the ear, the creepy factor of a solo will also reside heavily in the tone and rhythm playing underneath it.
Also i suggest using something like a minor 2nd harmony here and there and maybe diminished 5th harmony at times (1 fret down and 6 respectively), delay and maybe some wang bar magic, slides and usually IMO agood creepy solo is slower and has some harmonics thrown in at odd times and such to further create the aural decimation
Listen to Early Gorguts, Incantation, Immolation, Dementor and the like for the true force of evil and darkness a creepy solo needs, good luck....
