Tony Laureno in Dimmu Borgir?
Has anyone else heard anything on this I read an interview with Silenoz that said that they have been using him on tour. And when they asked if he would be a permenent addition to Dimmu he responded saying they are accepting any new members, and for the new record they will hire a session drummer. (perhaps Tijoldav?)
I'm kinda confused on this cause the interview wasn't on Dimmu's website, and they latest update on drummer was still that Reno Kilerich dude. Any one know anything more?
By the way Tony looks HILARIOUS in corpse paint.

The question from last:
Nick Barker was the last drummer to play for Dimmu.
He can play real fast due to the triggers that he used.
I found out that triggers are a cheat.
Anyhow, if thats Tony playing for them now..He's a good pick for the band..
though I still hope he plays for Vital Remains..

That has hardly anything to do with how fast he plays.

There were some on the Nile boards ( www.nilechat.net) but I don't remember which thread. Search the forums for Dimmu Borgir + Tony and you should be able to find something pretty quick.

What do triggers had to do with the tempo he could play?
And why is triggering cheating?
So whatever nick is a very nice drummer.

Nick has a very crisp and clean drumming style with lots of big tom rolls (see Kings of the Karnival Kreation by dimmu) I would rate him as one of the top metal drummers.

triggers arent for cheating there guy.. they are for changing the sound of a drum or obtaining a sound that is not possible through the drum..
