Goat Horn
Has anyone heard of these guys? They are from Toronto. I went out to see Anvil (Canadian metal band) but the guys before them, named Goat Horn, rocked. My kind of music. I ended up buying one of their cd's after the show. I spoke with the lead player, Brandon, after the show as well.
I asked him some typical questions about them. He used a Traynor amp with mesa tubes for the show and played a Gibson V. Sounded raw and powerful. I played the cd and read the sleeve. They recorded it in "Anolog" in one day. They say that they don't believe in cd burning and rightfully so. It had a "garage" type sound and feel and still sounded great. They put on a good show for a 3 piece band. During the show, the bass player was crowd surfing while playing a song. The crowd threw him back on stage after about 20 seconds and he kept on playing. Very funny stuff.
They have several full mp3's for your listening pleasure.

Any Toronto people out there who know these guys? I would definately see them again. What do you guys think? |

No, never heard of them, but Anvil, they are some old school kick ass power metal, didnt know they were still around.
I bring nothing to the table.
