I'm 22 and my training to be a Chartered Accountant starts in January. I obtained a degree in mathematics from the University of Liverpool in 2003 and I drink a lot of beer. I love and adore Liverpool Football Club and I drink a lot of beer. I also love and adore death metal and also drink a lot of beer. Oh and I drink a lot of beer, though my drinking efforts pale into comparison with the, quite frankly, heroic exploits of Def.

haha, we'll be sure to grab 'some' pints next year at WC2006!!! PST will prolly be there too man! and last time he was in Amsterdam he got chased by a woman that was angry at him for smashing beer bottles in the park
I remember when I was in England I had to drink like crazy because the pub closed at 11 o'clock. haha I was like 'WHAT THE FUCK???' and everybody looked at me and was like 'huh? ofcourse it closes!'
but I ordered another 4 'lagers' and the guy wanted us out, so he let us take the glasses, we could return them the next evening
On another note, I suck at maths. Good on ya though John, you must be born with mathematical knowledge?

Oh, and one more thing, state what you do in life.. for example if you have a job, school, ect.
I'm currently on my 4th year of a supposed to be 3 year high school run.

20. I drink enough that, a few years from now, I will be unable to form any but monosyllabic words and understand any but the most simplistic of need-based concepts. I play the guitar for no particular reason, listen to a lot of music, read a lot when able, watch both obscure arthouse and mainstream movies, and drink too much.

I hope people stop being so obsessed with politics now that the election's over. I've got friends on all sides of the political spectrum, and I'm sick of hearing why liberals/conservatives/people suck every time I want to just chill. There's not enough emphasis put on just living your life anymore. Sure, cxmachine has some views I'd consider extreme and, in some cases, wrong-minded, I definitely won't deny that, but at the same time, those are his views. I wouldn't be a fan of putting him in public office, but that's not a concern at the moment. I won't judge anyone on their politics unless he lets it take the place of their personality; if he does, even if he's brilliant and right about everything, I will dislike him. Anybody who can keep his opinions to himself until asked and can tolerate disagreement is at least one step towards cool in my book. Not necessarily there, but at least a step ahead of the guy who can't shut up about politics when I'm just trying to drink a few beers.
Speaking of which: At the moment I have no idea where my jacket and bag are and will soon depart to find them. My advice to everybody: stop drinking early enough that you remember going home. I haven't been this hung over in years.

You remind me of.... me about 6 years ago. Look what beer has done for me now.
I use to think about very abstract things all the time and had a expansive vocabulary to express those thoughts. No one much knew what the hell I was talking about most times because it required lots of concentration and a dictionary. It just took people to much time to figure me out. Not that I'm saying you don't have a very valid point in just about everything, but you cover everything in such great detail and it nearly makes my drunk brain go into seizers processing it.
Today, thanks to , I'm much more simple. All I think about is food, beer, sex, fun, music, and sleep. I feel much more humble and happier now that I've eradicated my higher thought capabilities. 2+2=5 finally makes since to me. Cheers

I was referring to 1984. That's where you learned 2+2=5. in room 101.

That's right 1984, Goerge Orwell. I though you were telling me to go back to school, but your right. The secret is learned in room 101 isn't it. Silly me.

In person, I'm pretty simple. I prefer it that way. I don't know why I'm not when I write, but it's probably habit and environment. It's much better to make a valid point without obscuring it.
I found my bag and jacket. My hangover has left my body and concentrated itself in my head. I need something liquid.

No solos, the vocalist sounds like a frog on steroids, and the drums arent interesting. Didnt mean to offend you tho soul. Didnt think you were a fan.

I made a call several months ago between a VTM120 and a Supreme, I chose the VTM, not a bad amp.

burzums "filosofem" album is absolutely essential. totally different from his other releases,im just starting to apprecaite its beauty and genius now. even the 25 minute keyboard thing finally makes sense to me. all my favorite albums take time to grow to like. id rank this up there with gorguts-obscura. absolutely amazing

wow. you are definitely a fair minded individual.. yeah i'm sick of the politics too. but it's over and it's all neither here nor there. i think i mentioned before that there really isn't a point to it on here. anywhosit you are also quite astute to pick up on the view vs. personality idea. can i be an asshole? yeah, everyone is quite capable. am i some neo extremist who bombs abortion clinics, beats gays, or procures illegal arms on the black market? hardly, i'm just a college student and musician who occasionaly needs to have a "fuck this/that" rant to keep myself otherwise stable and level headed. i can bet if you met me at a concert you wouldn't be able to pick me out from a group of liberals or whatnot as long as politics aren't the issue. bottom line? it doesnt fucking matter, beliefs are beliefs whether right or wrong left or right.. fuck it enjoy yourself and make friends by personality and stop judging people cause they do or don't agree with you. ok i'm done

What the fuck is wrong with a keyboard? it's a piano for the poor.
don't put a guitar above any instrument. It's a fucking sticks with strings on it that you pluck.
aside from that rant.
I can't see why everyone doesn't accept other tunes. There's a lot of great fucked up shit that exists and we're punishing ourselves by pushing it away.

fuck yeah
i only have that and B/A by varg, and i gotta say, not only do i like it better than B/A, but i also like the big keyboard song. jesu' død is easily my favourite song as the moment. i love the third riff on that song, you know the one i mean? anyway burzum is basically my second favourite band.

Well, me and him are buds, so we always bust each other
I just think it is funny when people say they "understand a song", whats to understand? its a piece of music! Not a piece of literature with hidden meanings.

but i happen to enjoy intelligent lyrics
other than hail satan or eat your sister's rotten cunt
that just degrades a band in my opinion.

I wear Converse All Stars. I could buy somewhere in the range of 1,850 pairs of them for that amount. I haven't bought new shoes in something like three years, and probably won't for another three, so, assuming I live to the average life expectancy, that could keep my feet covered for approximately 145 lifetimes. Since my family has a history of long lives, and also the way life expectancies are calculated, I'm very likely to live past that, it may be a few less, but still we're still talking about a lot of lifetimes. Over 10,000 years. I could get over 10,000 years' worth of shoes for the cost of those shoes. Or I could spend my money on something more worthwhile. Like 65 Rans. The point is, that's way too much to spend on shoes. If you drink too much, they're the first thing you're going to puke on. Think about that.

I chose a course on discrete mathematics in my second year because I wanted a break from calculus. Those 36 lectures were the only lectures out of 864 that didn't contain calculus. Actually, I tell a lie, there were another 36 lectures on Combinatorics that didn't contain calculus either.
Def: Hopefully, the British government will introduce a more European attitude towards closing times. Twenty-four hour drinking has been in the pipeline for a couple of years but there are idiots who fear that it will increase alcoholism. That's just bullshit because as it is now people just go out earlier and then binge drink. Sort of like how you ordered 4 beers right before closing time.
Bring on all-day drinking, that's what I say!

I'm throwing a party in couple of hours, any dutchies in a party mood are welcome, door's open from 11.00 and we don't go home untill the sun rises again,
expect: loud music, drunkyness, widescreen tv running dvd's and a pool table
my number is 06-52102588, call if you're coming and bring extra beer and other chemicals if you feel like it. I've got four crates of hertog jan, but there's about 15 coming now so it's not going to be enough.. hard booze available though
goodnight green screen

I was being facetious.
i actually thought it was rather cool
and for future reference, comebacks are pretty stupid anyway, but
adding caps lock and a bunch of numbers makes it lame.

whoa, that was some weekend.... I've been drinking since 10am yesterday. went to the horseracing, won money then lost more, big fat spliffs, bongs, get into pub, beerbeerbeer, went to party, drink more, smoke more, eventually pass out, wake up felling like shit, drink in an attempt to cure hangover, works a bit, finish off the rest of the mix with the aid of a billy, slowly begin to sober up before I drag my ass home.
And somewhere in there, I met a couple of metalheads in band and now I'm probably starting a band with them and my drummer friend.

Pubs close at 11pm but clubs and bars in the city centre will usually be open 'til 2am. Some clubs stay open later but you can't buy alcohol in them after 2am - just water and soft drinks. Most of the people who stay after 2am in these clubs are usually off their tits on ecstacy or speed or something so they don't give a fuck whether you can get a beer or not.

No beer after 2am? Nowhere????? What about petrol-stations? Are they allowed to sell beer after 2am?
If not, then it's a fucked up country.
BTW I like those 24h-bars. You see guys coming out of the bar while puking at 9am an the first guys go into after a nice sleep.
@ManOwar
What's up with that volcano in Iceland? Is it still active? Didn't hear anything about in the news for the last two days.

We can buy beer from petrol stations and the like (if you find one that sells beer, that is - not many do), but there are no 24 hour off-licences or anything. If you are at home you can call these 24 hour numbers and they deliver crates of beer to your door. Which is nice.

These beer-deliverers are expensive, aren't they?
Some months ago such a delivery-service opened here, but just till 2am. And it's fucking expensive, prices as high as in petrol-stations.

I got disowned by my dad. Cool, now if I ever do something cool and then be big enough to write a biography I will overblow this "drama" ala Motley Crue's "The Dirt". I'm actually happy. I don't want to be associated with this asshole.

dammit that was a hard party..
last people left my house at 5:30 in the morning haha, ofcourse, pissdrunk.
t'was good fun though we emptied 70+ beers, a bottle of whisky, bottle of coeberg (females), bottle of vodka with 20 people
party's like that rule, only in your own house it allways sucks to get stuck with the mess, this time though two chicks helped me out with cleaning, so everyting ok.
on another note, I picked up my Engl Powerball head today.
Hah.

They usually have prices of around £20-25 (~30-35 Euros) for a crate of 24 bottles. It's about double the price you pay for a crate of 24 at the supermarket, but when it's 3am and your party runs dry it's still good value.
