basically, i really like thier sound but i cant get it out of my setup. i run a strat straight into a line 6 spider II 112. Im getting a jackson PS3TL in a weeks time, so i cant be arsed with people saying its your pick ups and stuff because i know that already. What I want to know is are there any pedals (ie compression, distorion, rack effects or preamps etc...) that they use or do they just run straight into thier amps? What amps do they use? Does anyone know whatthier basic eq settings are?

the strat has got to go.... and i'd even say the line 6 does too, unless you want to use pedals... mayeb a big muff teamed up with a boss ge-7...
