The Passing
wrote this after seeing Amon Amarth live, and reading a lot of myths about warriors and Nordic/celtic legends:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Unto The Twilight Stepped Thy Soul
And Spirits Wonder By Your Door
Whenever You Hear They Come Near
Is It The Truth? You Have No Fears?
The Ground Devoured All That's Loved
And In The End You'd Always Shout
Scream For Mercy,Ease Of Pain
All These Prayers Are Said In Vain
Darkness Set,Charm Spells Are Broken
As Demons From The Crypt Evoken
To Spread The Venom On The Land
To Ruin All The Beasts Were Send
These Northern Light
Black Wooden Halls
Lure To Follow Mighty Call
Where Still Remembered Ancient Ways
All The Aesir Shall Greet And Hail
I'll Walk With Them My Final Days
Once in awhile there's a word that seems misspelled in the past couple pieces I've read of yours. I'm wondering now if English is your first language because that's pretty common when it isn't. I liked this piece pretty much ,too. You've got a lot of imgaery in it and it flows pretty well. It does have that Nordic flair to it to me.
Grimm:I could read your mind but its in font size .5
Amadeus:Oh, and was there a cesserole (never mind spelling) involved?
Paddy:the fact that you didn't end up on a kids show makes me question my atheism
Depends what you consider a first language. if it's the one spoken where you were born than it's Russian.
if it's the one you know best - than Hebrew
