I do not know..I remember looking at it and being like "whoa, theres a thread on this guitar at metaltabs" then I was like "whoa..." then I put my hand on the neck and I was like "whoa". Then I played some Iced Earth on it and was like "whoa.....".

It sounded like my warlock but felt better...maybe cause of the body. It sounded like maybe a $500 guitar. Actually it felt like that...EMGs make every guitar sound the same

Do you remember any of the specs? What kinda of body shape? Do you think it was a custom made guitar or stock?

It had a soloist kind of body...Maybe more like an RG. It was black...I think it had two EMG 81s. I don't remember the fretboard inlays or the wood it was made of. I think it was rosewood. It had nice tuners I remember but I didn't catch the brand. They kinda "clicked" when they were turned. I think it would have probobly been a stock guitar but whoever had it dropped EMGs in it and put better tuning heads on. Unless Rans come like that.

Rans come with EMG and SD. The hardware was probally Schaller because that is what Ran uses on their stock guitars. Damn thats a rare find M=L. I wish you know how much it was.

they looked like normal tuning pegs but at the top of them they had a hing and the top swung up so instead of doing half turns relentlessly to string up a string you could pull that out and just spin them

WHAT A NIGHT!!!!!!!!!

Went to see a show with Misery Index (for you who don't know them its a band started by dudes who left Dying Fetus), and the night started off good, some band from NB played, not my cup of tea, but meh, the GRUESOME FEAST PLAYED!!!! Played a sweet ass set, my fav. "local" band though they are from PEI, and at the end of their set the played a cover of Cannibal Corpse's "Stripped, Raped, And Strangled", and the pit was INSANE!!! local black metal band played... Outside for that one. Then Neuraxis (from Montreal) played, Then... Misery Index!!!!!!!!! Holy fuck, right from the start is was insane, that pit made slayer's pits look like a Ice Cream Social... NO FUCKING JOKE! In the end got the guitar pick... I'M FUCKING CURSED!!! and shook hands with the whole band.

BTW during the time I was out side for the black metal band, the building the gig was at is in the middle of a park, and accross the street these "satanist" where doing so gay ass dance, and the kept yelling out "FOR THE COW HORN GOD!"... Or some shit like that, but ya SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET NIGHT!!!

My halloween was the shittiest thing ever. I've been sick all weekend with some sort of flu. It isn't the throwing up kind of flu, but i've been weak all weekend. It feels like i'm losing muscle mass. I can barely walk around. Last night (halloween) I decided to tough it out and go to my friend's house to scare some kids. I didn't even have a costume, so we cut the top off of an empty water jug (those big dispenser ones) and stuck it over my head. Yes, I was a water dispenser for halloween. So we stayed there for a while and made some sad attempts to scare kids, but to no avail. It was only 0 C which is actually a VERY nice halloween temperature for Calgary. Normally it only takes a hoodie to keep you warm. I had a hoodie, and a 300 dollar winter jacket on and I was shaking. We finally went to my friends house and my mom picked me up. I went to bed at 9:30 p.m and woke up at 12 in the afternoon. I had 3 huge blankets and a sleeping bag on my bed, and I was still freezing.

Ah, that makes sense then. He just works there. I guess it's the same with any country that has any sort of influx of immigrants - they have to be able to integrate into society and the only way to accomplish that is the immigrant having at the very least a basic understanding of the language.

yes it is a gas station. When i arrive there i have to get the ice bags and put them in stacks near the fridge. Then theres another guy there that puts them in there. After that i have to put all of these food cans in order which takes a while. Then I have to mop the store which sucks pretty damn bad. Then i go home and eat because i have a break. I come back and help the guy organize the shelfs ( also check the price tags). Then i go home and do my homework or just go to sleep and finish my homework in the morning. I've been doing my homework in the mornings now because i have to take a bus to school because it is pretty far from my house. I get on the bus at 6:40 a.m and arrive at school at 7:45. and yes sir 6 hours of working.

Icelandic peoble are very inviting to americans, as long as you don't say anything bad about iceland Most icelandic peoble talk english pretty well so it shouldn't be that hard to find a good job. Living here is really great. BUT there are A LOT less concerts and stuff around here than most other places thoug that has improoved dramatycly the last few years and instruments are A LOT more expensive over here.
