Practice your rudiments first. That will help you a bit. If you already know all your rudiments and everything else in between then some easy songs.... Hmm, Metallica is easy of course, The Cars, etc. Check out some old bands first like old rock bands and then move into the kind of metal stuff like Metallica and just work your way up there. Listed to a lot of different bands and see how hard the drums sound and play at your level... That is the best that I can tell you, not sure what else you could do.

A lot of classic rock is easy to play. AC-DC, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath. When I used to drum, i started out with slow songs, then slowly progressed to faster stuff.

I started with AFI's Silver and Cold (WHAT? That song has an enormous ammount of sentimental value to me...)
Rudiments, rudiments!

Dude, Slipknot's drumming is the only complicated part about their music. Other than that, they suck.

Try out some fuck im dead, morbid angel, decrepit birth, and hate eternal... that stuff is sooo easy, i could play it with one hand and one foot.
In all seriousness though, one shot one kill by dying fetus is pretty easy, pretty much anything after talley left is fair game... Slayer, although fast, is really simple.

slayer is NOT simple, Dave lombardo is fucking incredible and technical, if you are trying to play it note for note it is very difficult.
good metal bands to play would be early thrash stuff, most of it isn't tooooo hard and it helps improve your drumming endurance.
erm Nu metal is easy to play but very gay.
a lto of rock is good to play, stuff like AC/DC is fucking easy as shit but fun! erm yeah also as far as Death Metal goes Cannibal corpse is pretty easy, it is just fast.

dude, thats weak, 190 16ths is nu metal drumming. Derek Roddy and Tim yeung can hold that for days. Dying Fetus' new drummer is shit compared to talley.

190 bpm double bass is no walk in the park, I can do that for about 30-60 secs (depending on various factors) I mean I haven't heard this partic song but if it goes for more than 10 secs it isn't a good song for begginers.
Most metal especially death metal is NOT easy to play on drums for begginers, it is best to start with the old rock songs stuff by say Motley Crue and poison etc, then you move up to early thrash Metallica Anthrax and Megadeth then you start getting more and more extreme, Slayer then black metal then death metal.
this will take you a while to play in that order, I mean sure you can learn one particulalr song by a fairly difficult band to play, but to be able to comfortably play most songs of that genre/style takes alot of time, I am only now starting to get comfy playing black metal and I have been playing for 5 years, my death drumming still leaves a little to be desired.
and when I say comfy I mean I could probably take almost any Black metal song and learn it within a few weeks, excluding ones that are constant blasting cause my endurance is shit at the moment, I can only blast for about as long as I can double bass at speed.
