Hey were are all the guitar tabs for this band Mnemic? They fucking kick ass. Sorta like Meshuggah guitar riffs with Fear Factory/White Zombie singing.
They use 7 strings.

I want the same thing, hey do you have The Audio Injected Soul, Mnemic's new album?? It's badass as well and the 3D sound, omagod! I know they tune to B because I emailed Mircea once asking them about thier guitars, whether they tune to B standard or drop B now is very hard to tell. I can usually figure out how to play songs by a lot of metal bands just by hearing, but Mnemic is one band that I can't figure out and that's why I love em.

they dont use 7 strings. they may very well tune baritone, but they dont use 7 strings

and yea, they definitely use a standard tuning, not drop. gimme a few minutes ill figure some of Deathbox out.

UPDATE: yea its definitely in B standard, 6 string baritone. (B E A D F# B). ill tab it out over the course of the night, but the lead is really quiet. may take a while

On Mechanical Spin Phenomena they use Ibanez K7 7-Strings.

Sorry andrew 1331, but I have their videos on my computer and they do use 7 strings in A tuning [A E A D G B E].
Actually they use two 7-chords in Liquid and one 7-chords & a normal guitar in A tuning (like slipknot) in Ghost.

I never understood how someone could tell a band's guitar tuning by watching their videos.

And, for the record, Slipknot doesn't use A tuning.

On Heretic Anthem they use AEADF#b, I think they switch between, although drop B is their main tuning, oh yeah we're talking about Mnemic here. They're a type of band who's technicality isn't fully appreciated with a few listens over time you notice a bunch of new things. Although they don't have the solos that Meshuggah has, I think Mnemic is actually more complex than other cyber thrashers these days. Yeah, Mircea emailed me back a while ago before I had MSP and said it's all tuned in B. I can get some of the notes right on some songs like Dreamstate Emergency and Liquid other than their songs have me stumped.

Mircea uses a Caparison guitar called Dellinger, but he also plays a Gibson and an Ibanez somtimes

I only think i have seen Rune play a Jackson, that and maybe a Schecter.

But as far as i can remember, they used a ibanez and a Jackson for recording the autio injected soul.

Wow.. I have just started listening to Mnemic.. and I was looking for tabs because they are fucking bad ass.. And I find out that they use the K7!! KoRn being my favorite band lol that kinda suprised me...
