Good Drummachines
I been thinkin' about buyin' a drum machine to help with my song writin'. Know any good ones. And also, are there any good free software ones you folks know of?

seems like there was a thread on this not to long ago, try a search.... are you looking for an actual drum machine/sampler unit or cheesey computer program?

my cousin has sequbeat but you have to pay for that one. Hammerhead 1.0 is ok and its free.Although the drums sound kinda cheesy but its mostly simple beats. You can go from 50 to 250 BMP though

boss makes good samplers... i prefer samplers over drum machines... rythmstations/drum machine don't allow you to create much... samplers give you worlds of options.

sequbeat is shit for extreme metal, if you are playing faster than like 180 bpm, it WON'T keep up. Ive been playing with Fruity loops recently, but that comes with drums that sound totally shit, and it is complex as all fuck.

I got a drummer. I just need something to write my own personal shit with in case I get an idea, so I can see what it sounds like and see what my drummer can do with it at practice.
