Dime vs ironbird
hey dudes i m looking for another guitar seemin that i ve just offloaded my aria. I decided on getting an nj ironbird and really liked it other than the trem seemed a bit dodge and i wasnt to sure about the strings either, so i then went to play a washburn dime which i liked but i found the neck a bit wide. I know i want to get 1 of them, but aint to sure, wat you guys think?

I'd say the Dime, because those speedloaders are crap. If you want a BC Rich guitar, go for an 80's model, as they are better made. Go with the NJ series though.

NJ
The Speedloader is awesome, has Mahogany body and Ebony fretboard.
Just gets some new pickups. Should be a ncie guitar... plus it dosent have a cartoon drawn on it.

The Mahogany and Ebony does kick ass, but do remember that the cheaper Ebony fretboards have a reputation for cracking.

If your an idiot and dont know how to apply Fretboard Condiitoner of Lemon Oil.
Any fretboard can crack if given the chance to dry.

If you let it set by a woodstove maybe, but most rosewood fretboards will never crack, ever.

Ive seen cracked rosewood fretboards, Rosewood just retains oils better than ebony so its less likely they will crack. But ANY type of wood can crack, and will under certain circumstances.

If you are thinking about a dime, that is a good idea. I've played the camo one and like all dime's it is pretty badass.....set-neck...decent floyd. I don't know about the speedloaders though...and it is probably a bolt-on neck too.

i m still unsure, i like them both so much and i ve always been a fan of both guitars. The ironbird is especially comfy but the dime is pretty sweet ass and rare cos its signed by him and its a one off kind of thing.

OMG IT HAS A FAKE PAINTED SIGNAURE!!! COOL!!1
That, combined with the shitty floyd and crappy cartoon paintjob prooves that its a cheap pos.
The NJ has a REAL Floyd Rose SpeedLoader.
Their both bolt-ons and i highly doubt the Dime has an AANJ but the NJ does..

I'd say Ironbird. I just like it more.

Ironbird (tough choice for me)
I admit, I'm a big Dime fan, and I think Washburns kick ass. Definately like them more than BC Rich, but the Ironbird is just so goddamn cool. Unbelievable. And considering the specs, I'd go for the Ironbird. But I'd still try em both, of course.

Even though I prefer the Ironbird over the Dime, I'm gonna have to suggest the Dime because those speedloaders suck. That is, of course, just my opinion.
