gorgoroth tuning
does anyone know what gorgoroth tune their guitars to on their 2002 album "incipit satan" ?
im gonna write a few guitar tabs, but im confused because while traditionally black metal is in D tuning, the opening track (title track) sounds like its tuned 5 steps down. although im thinking maybe its the way the albums produced.
anyway, ill transcribe it in D tuning and just correct it if its in a different tuning.

Gorgoroth has a official webpage with a forum. Both Tormentor and Infernus used to answer stuff there.. Try asking there when their forum is back up..

Black metal is usualy in standard. Emperor, Immortal, Burzum, GBK, Most Mayhem.
And I'm pretty sure Gorgoroth tune to standard, but I could be wrong.

they sound like they're tuned to D to me, so i'll just tab it like that.
besides, i wouldn't go on a black metal forum usually, too much of a pussy  |
