Whats so bad about Slipknot? ive seen lots of posts about how slipknot is so bad. they have very talented musicians especially mick and joey. i just dont get it could u please explain why they "suck" so much.  |

The fact that they are a huge gimmack...the fact they somehow turned into satan worshippers just because people thought they were in the first place...
Haha, and the lyrics are horrible, I heard a few songs off their NU cd at my buddies house..theres one about like living up to the expectation of the MAGGOT or something i dunno..but I was laughing my ass off because it was so cheesy.
There riffs are stupid, all those drums is lame and the dj and "special effects" guys are retarded.

and the band consists of 3 (MAYBE 4) musicians and the rest just dance around on the stage, and they have cheezy "we are cool" gimicks that the coreograpy for their live performances, used in a desperate attempt to look "4 r3al"

They were a made up band started by that clown that beats the beer kegs. He wanted to be in a metal band but couldn't play anything. Not all parts of the music is bad once seperated from the BS, but as a whole it gets... sucky!

Oh great, another Slipknot thread. MetalThrashingMad pretty much summed it up. I glad I'm not the only one who noticed they have waaayyy to much merch. They're all about the money, not the horrible music.

Talent does not mean shit. Yes, some of them are talented (including the two percussionists, believe it or not), but they still suck. Look at Metallica, all that talent and still as bad as Blink 182.
