Yeh, the S in S series stand for Shit
Only 22 Frets, ugly body, crappy trem, angled jack.
Hate it all. But whatever floats Mordor's boat

If I had to go with one, it would be the ESP, BC Rich suck unless you pump out $1,000.

Yes, but if you DO pump out 1000 bucks for a handmade Bernie SR Warlock or Mockingbird or Bich, that would just plain kick ass.

ya, but i don't think this guy WILL spend $1,000, more like the general $350-$600 that everyone has to spend.

Notice you said EMG's thats whats doing the work, and if you were to put a passive one in there, then it would sound... well kind of bad.
But then again you and I live in Atlantic Canada where gear sucks, and EVERYONE has an EMG in their guitar.

I never break strings and i find a thin body uncomortable.
And the trem is lame imo, you cant even do flutters with it.
but hey, one mans trash is another mans treasure.

I'd definately go for the F, really nice work on that one. Surpsiring for a metal guitar, it manages to look great and feel good at the same time. If you're talking about some basic Ltd F, it'll probably have EMG-HZ H4s. They're good passives, but you should get some kickass actives, like a 81/85 set or something. If you're going for the Ltd, buy at least the F-250, neck-thru, HZ and stuff. ESP doesn't have many F-guitars, so you'll probably go for a Ltd. But that's just me...

sure.... if they're good passives they'll probably sound good in any guitar... the same way good actives will probably sound good in any guitar... but a shitty warlock isnt going to sound exactly like a nice warlock because they have the same pickups....

The EMG-HZ H4s are not bad passives, not at all. I have them on my Ltd KH202, and I can get reeeally nice sounds of it. About the BC, personally I don't like pretty much any BC pickup.
I'd go for active EMGs (81/85 or something) with both of these. But that's just me.
