The Brownie guitarist has always been into metal, as has the drummer.
I remember i saw cribs and the drummer has a maiden and slayer poster on his wall.
I also saw them on MTV one time playing "You've got another thing coming" with ROB HALFORD on vocals and Tommy Lee on drums (yes two drummers.. was pretty cool) So i guess their getting heavier, not quite metal..

Ok well now i have listened to half the cd...
not bad, not worthy of a purchase but I could stand listening to this on the radio. Some cool riffs, vocals still such though.
and they even have some  SOLOS!?!?!?!
Nothing special, just nice to hear a solo in a radio friendly song. The song "The Bitter End" is prob my fav. out of the ones ive heard.

Yes, they are. In recent news, Blink 182, Avril Lavigne, and Tina Turner (yes, that's right) have all converted to metal. They are touring with Suffocation next month. It will kick ass. By the way, if you listen to "What's Love Got to Do With It?" by Tina Turner, you will notice some obvious Judas Priest and Slayer influence. I'd also make some similar jokes with Blink 182 and Avril Lavigne, but since I don't know the names of any of their songs, I can't.

Silverchair were OK back in the day. Now INXS, there's a bad Austrailian band. You could also throw in Savage Garden - my word they were awful. Also, whilst not being a band per se, Austrailia is responsible for Rolf Harris. 'Nuff said!
