id like to get you guys' views on hardcore / metalcore music. i know this is a metal forum and you all like metal, but most of my friends who like metal also enjoy hardcore. im not talking about bullshit poser bands, i mean the good stuff here. Zao, As I Lay Dying. Bleeding Through, Dillinger Escape Plan, Heaven Shall Burn. bands like that.

Tomorrownight I'm seeing Heaven Shall Burn with Maroon and Hatebreed in Amsterdam.

I saw Dillinger Escape Plan at lowlands and ZAO played in holland about a month ago, all good stuff, I also like some other metalcore bands like Caliban, Fear My Thoughts (Technical shit!) and more hardcore stuff like Congress, Reprisal, xDisciplex, Shockwave, Backfire, Deadlock, etc...

I don't like the generic agnostic front style hardcore much though, but I've seen allmost every noteworthy metalcore and hardcore band live, from Arkangel to Madball and from Darkest Hour to Poison the well.
Metalcore is generally ok with me, as long as it's original, shame theres so many crap metalcore bands out there and even more crap hardcore bands who are all doing the same shit over and over again.

haha no. I eat at the cafeteria so it's something weird. For lunch today it was some cassarole(that actually wasn't toooo bad). Basically it consisted of pepperoni, beef ravioli, and spaghetti all mixed together. But I just ate a relatively shitty dinner. It was good chicken on pasta, 2 rolls, and 2 glasses of water. I only eat pizza on the weekends. That's because well, I really like pizza sauce, and uni pizza has the most horrible sauce in the world.

Those movies shouldn't be so long. It took less time to read all the books, and even they were tedium broken up by the occasional beautiful passage. Which I suppose makes the adaptations very able, aside from the tone. I refuse to believe that the man who made Dead Alive took such an overly serious tone, but there you have it.

That cat commercial reminds me of a story my parents told me about a neighbor they had before I was born. It seems they had one neighbor who let its cat roam around while they and another neighbor hated it, as it would come into their houses through open windows and sneak up on them while they were outside and such. One day the cat disappeared. Months later, my parents were over having dinner at the house of the neighbor who hated it, and he told them he'd soaked a rag in chloroform and killed the cat, then threw it in a dumpster a few blocks away.
