Aside from the tapping part, Jeff's solo in Seasons in the Abyss is pretty simple and slow. I'll probably think of more later, but at the moment I'm very tired.

True, but not for this guy, and it's not exactly helpful to say 'They're all simple. You can't play them because you suck.', now is it?
A lot of things on South of Heaven strike me as pretty simple and not too fast, maybe you should check some of those out.

dude, they would be pretty easy anyway if you didnt play them as fast as he does, it would sound fine. It's not like they do anything special in slayer solos. Coincidently im working on the Angel of Death solo. You can find slayer solo tabs on ultimate guitar dot com.

Again, true, but if speed's the problem, as it was said to be, there's no point in saying that.

Just practice and get good and youll see why theyre pretty simple. If you havent got your speed built up yet then I can see why they may be hard but otherwise, theyre not that complex.

I heard that on "Bloodline" Kerry's just goin' off with the wah and hittin' the neck. Is that true?? I tried to look for it at Ozzfest, but I couldn't tell, I was on Jeff's side of the stage.

Wouldnt be surprised. That solo is hella lame. Also, lets not refer to it as a solo anymore.

the riffs are more complex than his damm "solos"
anyway, if you want to learn solos to try to make you a better guitarist, make sure you learn more than one, as you can quite quickly pick up one solo, then play it fast from memory, its more skill to be able to pick up something new, then play that with reasonable speed.

The solos at the end of "Haunting the Chapel" are easier than a Korn song. Thumbs up, dude!

The solo 'Bloodline' does sound pretty wierd. It's just slides with a really strong wah sound by the sounds of it. I really like it but I never attempt it 'cause I don't have a wah pedal atm so it would be pointless.
If you want an easy Slayer solo start with 'Stain Of Mind'.

Well the solo in Decapitated's cover of "Mandatory Suicide", which is not completely different from the original. It's not very fast, easy to hear all the notes but that doesn't mean it's easy. Give that a shot.
Trying to figure out random fretwank and divebomb/whammy fiddle lead fills are just pointless, just try to work out something that sounds good on the song, or throwing in harmonics in a similar pitch if you have a whammy bar.
