Hey i just started bass all i know is how to tune it and barely read tabs. Can anybody offer advice to help me get better?

Yes, you are.
Learn to read tabs better and then the world's your oyster. Once you can do that, all sorts of exercises are opened up to you and you can really begin to get better.
And don't post introduction threads; it will make people prejudiced against you.

Why didn't you listen to him  Forget about everyone just repeating what we have already writen somewhere else here just for little ol' nothing you. Learning how to get better takes hard work, including looking though threads that exist. Now get to looking around the site and learn something you lazy nOOb. |

To specialed: dont come here and ask us for your help, we have too many of them threads and you can still search for them, as for tabs, we cant help you read them! there are sites for that, try http://www.cyberfretbass.com

My Welcome Thread didn't get bashed, then again I didn't plead for mercy on reading tabs...take bass lessons! It will help you so much with your rhythm and just all around knowledge of music and how to create it.
