I'm going to reinforce BLS a say Kahler's ass rape any floyd bridge. They are the only trem I use on guitar. I buy them when I can, guitars with them, or I will just get a guitar with a fixed bridge instead, but no floyd's for me.

Ive think ive heard of bernie rico, if im correct he could be the owner of a shop down in las vegas, if it is then ive heard this guy is a stuck up piece of shit. Atleast when my freind went to his shop when he was down there he met the guy and said he was really anal about his guitars compared to everyone else's and how his are the best, he was trash talkin companies like gibson and jackson, i dont know for sure what else he said, ill have to ask my freind.

That sounds more like Ed Roman, the owner of Ed Roman's World Class Guitars, who has a reputation for being a complete dick. He's got a large shop in Vegas, and a website full of shit talking, how everyone else but his own custom made guitars suck. Bernie Rico Sr (the original dude who made the guitars) is dead, I think. His son, Bernie Rico Jr, has his own guitars, Bernie Junior. You can find info on him here, I don't think Rico's are your boys:

I like the older ones myself. I'm sure B.C. Rich makes a fine guitar today but its gonna cost major$$$$$$. Most of the stock guitars they mave been making lately are worthless due to the fuck'dup bridges on them.

Thats about right but string hight is measured at the 12th fret. I keep mine at a standard medium hight of 5/64 off the low strings and trapper down to 3/64 at the high strings; all off the 12th fret of course and I keep a bow between 1/64 to 1/32 ( thats like 3/128 ).

Guitar Demon, First of all, I happened to take a huge chance on buying a stealth from a guy in the states off ebay. I never tried one before or even saw one first hand until I received it. Yes, it is extremely rare to find them for sale. I would say that I have only seen two up for auction on ebay in more than a year and I bought one of them. Good luck with the search and if you have any questions about the stealth, i'm your man. BTW: it's an '84. The house of guitars in new york had one the last time I checked but it was a natural finish for about 3K.
Second: I just came from a guitar shop in town and they had two mockingbirds there. I tried them both out. One was a natural finish neck thru and the second had a "gunslinger" purple solid coat. Both were made in the 80's and they were a little pricey and beat up. Felt good to play and the both had a "wider than a strat" neck radius.
Thirdly: Bernie Rico was the man behind B.C. Rich. The American made ones are really good quality guitars. All these platinum and NJ ones are lower end stuff. BC Rich, I believe, closed down it's florida location and are completely set up in Cincinnati now.
