Ok this is slightly more serious than my previous poem about the homosexual relationship between a man and a horse, which everybody totally flamed
I recently started reading Dante's Inferno and came up with some lyrics based on what i've read so far..
DANTE'S INFERNO
Here you are at the foot of a hill
Guided by Virgil
You are about to commence
The journey through life
Look around you
At the stubborness
The savage
And the wilderness
This is the dark wood
Where the sun is mute
Where nobody dares
And where nobody looks
Three beasts stand before you
Gazing into your eyes
Fraud, Violence, Incontinence
The wrong path to take
Journey down another road
The divine light is at the end of the tunnel
Recognise your sin and repent
For the consequence will be eternal hell
A slave to the almighty beast
Is it a task you're willing to undertake?
