I am thinking about guying a new guitar after christmas. I am looking for a good guitar that is easy to play on and feels good in the hands. I am looking at the Jackson RR 3 or 5, soloist, and DKMG. I want something with a tremelo bar because I use it alot in my solos. Any suggestions?
Also another idea of mine is that I have a very one Schecter Black hawk. I really like the body but the pickups and neck are crap. I was thinking about maybe just buying a jackson neck to put on it and some new pickups. Would this be work it?
You may frown, but i would reccomend the ESP Ltd Kh-602, i played one, and it was some of the best guitarage ive ever played.

ibanez's.... as far as comfort-wise... they're some of the best i've played. but for some reason some people hate the wizard necks. you can always change the hardware to suit your needs better if you want a different sound.. but the body and neck should come first.
if you can find an older rg(probably used) then not only would that save you money and allow for a better guitar. but the stock trems on them seem to be better than the more recent floyd copies.
What about building my own from scratch? I have found some bodies on ebay and some necks that I like. My ideal guitar would be an RR body (white) with a jackson neck/head with a single pickup (probably dimarzio) and a tremelo bridge . I looked online and its about 300 for all the parts used. If I buy the body I can do some crazy spay paint job to it. Has any one done this? If so how well does it work?
Does any one know of a good place for guitar painting or a site that gives u tips on how to do a good paint job? I want to do something like what Alexi (Children of Bodom) has on his guitar.
Less than $1,500 USD Total. Labor is cheap in Poland so a US doller gets you lots more then in the US. Quality of Ran guitars are A+. Many death metal bands seem to use them now. There was a little conflict with the US Customs office but I got the guitar anyway. Seems the Customs office can't read Polish.
Yea, I think im just goint to buy the parts so I can put it together myself. It will be cheaper and I can learn alot for it. Any one know of any guitar painting tip sites?
The ran guitars look nice, but I would rather do it myself. Plus it would be cheaper.
