Whats more fun to play: Pantera or Slayer
I like playing pantera more, but slayer just go shitfast, whereas dime goes for a more comfortable playing approach.
What do u guys prefere?

I enjoy playing along with the Cowboys from Hell album. Other then that I find Slayer to be more technical and fast. Thats the sort of thing I enjoy more, so I find myself playing more Slayer then Pantera.

Slayer isn't all speed without feeling.....and not all of pantera's songs have much feeling.
I'd say the best example for Slayer would be the song "213". If you don't get any "feelings" or "emotions" out of that song, good or bad, then uh, you get my point.

For the color dancers were pulsing, spinning, making liquid cartoons. Not really animations, but clear shades of color, forming a toy playground. They made this delight of breathing easy. I like playing them both. They are my top two favorite bands. I guess for reasons of convenience, id have to say Slayer. Just cause they stay in Eb on all their earlier albums. But as far as power, id have to say that i like to play Pantera songs more. So basically they kinda even out for me.

Yeah he has speed he just runs up and down scales going on kinda random frets. He said so himself in Guitar Worlda while ago.
Anyhow I love playing Pantera. Slayer's fun but Pantera just has groove that is awesome to play. Plus Dimebag can do perfectly what 2 guitarists can't. |

pantera..........dime puts a lot of feeling into his guitar riffs and solo and it really shows.....he is like a black man when he solos........he feels the blues and his solos really bennifit from this

Slayer damnit. Nothing Dime does compares to that breakdown riff in "Angel of Death" or the begining of "Raining Blood". I always like when people say SLayer is to hard, it makes me feel like I'm good.

i haven't heard alot of Slayer songs, but i don't think they have the groovy blues-metal riffs that Dimebag delivers:

to name a few
i like playing thrash metal, but not as much as groovy riffs with pinch harmonics.
i like the blues.
